Tickle only kicked that one against Saints because Long had just had two attempts and missed both of them.

why do we always wait for the last tackle! annoys me that we don't take the option to go for the drop earlier

Bob Gaitley..now he could drop goals..got 9 for us in 15 (+5sub) appearances, did loads for Hunslet too. Tony Dean was pretty decent, Crooksy (Snr.), Knocker as mentioned, Mick Crane, Divorty & Brian Hancock/Chris Davidson back in the 70s
Garry Pearce is the top Hull FC DG kicker, (equal record of 14 in a season 88/89) we could do with someone like him, he'd get us half a doz 40/20s a game I reckon

Im sure someone will correct me if wrong as I only saw the last 20 mins of game but didnt the team once drop multiple goals in the John Payer replay at Leeds, Im thinking 5 bt feel that may be too many
