| Out of interest what is the size difference between Horney and Pitts. Would play him at 13. He doesn't miss many tackles and would give him a free role to come into the line. I think you need to keep Miller and Holdsworth together to form a settled partnership.

| Miller did nothing wrong to warrant being dropped,so give the kid another chance if anything give someone else the kicking duties.hopefully tickle will be back and I'd also restore yeaman to the squad as I don't think arundell is up to it neither is crookes.think we'll see a completely different team for the next game.

I think you should come clean, you clearly know the detailed terms of Gentle's contract, if he gets paid according to how many minutes his countrymen play then I think we all need to know, if his longevity as coach is directly linked to antipodean image rights and appearance fees then we also need to know.
Miller went quite well, Holdsworth was poor in terms of conversions, (but did try with ball in hand) but we didn't recruit him for that, both played behind a well beaten pack.
Why no criticism of Houghton, Whiting, Crookes, in fact, pretty much the full 17?
we had a bad game as a TEAM, not as individuals.

Its only my opinion, its what most people give on here
Why does galea seem to be able to walk back into the team?
The post topic was about horne gettin back in the team, i dont think he will play at 7 for a while now miller has arrived

| Miller did enough to suggest he could be the scrum half we've been searching for.
Good problem to have though, considering we've had a combination of hookers and back rowers at half back in the last few seasons.

Of course we should stick with Holdsworth and Miller.

| Its a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. Miller and Holdsworth must start together and we need to get Danny Tickle back instead of Galea.

We've needed a settled HB partnership for years. It'd be potty to start chopping and changing now we've (hopefully) got one. Fingers crossed Holdsworth and Miller will be together for the next two and a half seasons maybe longer.

| So Horne is having one of his best seasons in years and possibly is the player of the season so far and gets injured then you all clammer all over yourself to basically bin him in favour of some 20 year old rookie aussie who had a completely average debut and may not even make it as a quality SL half back? Well i think you all dont have a clue. Miller should be back up for this season at least till he finds his feet and confidence and possibly even next season too imo. THe Horne/Holdsworth partnership is the best weve seen in years and should be given time to blossom even further and if anyone should make way for Miller in the future its Holdsworth. Remember no team has ever acheived anything in SL with an all aussie half back team

Do you think Richard Horne, on this years form, would have been good enough to secure a starting half back spot in last years U20's State of Origin? My personal opinion is no. However we are lucky enough to have one of the 4 starters from last years U20's SOO, signed up, and you suggest he should play second fiddle to Richard Horne not only for this year but next year too! Baffling...

No sympathy from you then
The guy suffered a severe concussion not long back, and couple this with him playing catch-up with match fitness, perhaps you need to cut the guy some slack
As for Richard Horne, he has always been an effective player in the halves - ask Paul Cook - and has come back to full fitness after some very serious injuries. Pity he is side lined at the moment, it seems to have contributed toward taking the wind out of FCs sails (although IMO its FCs middle which seems to have run out of 'wind').

| 3 way shoot out between horne, miller and holdsworth. Best 2 get to play. Overall, horne has been much better than holdsworth this season (who has had as many poor to average games as he has good games) so maybe it's between holdsworth and miller who partners horne when he come back?
