I've got it on pretty good authority - 95% - that our game will be on the BBC. The BBC games are scheduled to KO at 4pm on Saturday and 4.15pm on Sunday. The delay with making a decision is apparently down to negotiations that the BBC are having with French broadcasters and the RFL are as frustrated as anyone. As stated earlier , logic says that the French would want to play it on the Saturday to avoid a clash with Bastille Day. Fingers crossed that's the way it will go.

Not sure why the BBC would have to negotiate with the French broadcasters, the BBC and Sky own the right to the Challenge Cup so they can dictate, surely?

possibly, but even then, I'd imagine they have a standing agreement in most countries to hire kit?

That's exactly it. Apparently using other broadcaster's kit on location esp on one off's is the norm.

Will be a good weekend to go, our first sl visit there was over the bastille day weekend, was a fantastic night out.

It's a real shame that these two events clash, I would guess that those into their boxing would have picked the Campbell fight over Catalan anyway so doubt it will have too much effect on numbers going to France. That said the delay is a joke and taking time off at short notice is never going to be easy, its almost 2 weeks since we beat Wakefield, over a week to wait for the draw and now we still await an answer on when we play.

If it is 4pm KO as being suggested the heat coiuld be a real killer.

This will be our 3rd Bastille weekend. Our rearranged fixture last year was the CC QF weekend and if I remember correctly think the other time was 2007
