no doubt Gentle has helped his game. but lets not forget horney had awful run of injuries and illness to contend with

On form, horney should be in the England squad.
Three quality half backs at the club is a superb problem to have.

Id rather him not play for england! He will end up getting injured when in such good form!

Another great game by Rich - the presence of Holdsworth allowing him to play his natural game is working wonders. A good problem to have when Miller comes, but also fantastic succession planning

Horne is playing tough footy too, he is looking fit and strong.

I say drop Horne, he's not doing anything that any other 'capable halfback' would be able to do

Still hasn't/won't get much recognition from anybody outside of Hull fans.
His name should be getting banded around at the minute much more than it unfortunately is.

Give miller time to settle, no need to rush him in before he knows our play book cover to cover and has bonded with the team. Knowing our luck, he'll get a shot through injury anyways!

All that looking for a half-back and Hull FC have had one all along. Richard Horne is their Danny McGuire. About time it was recognised.

Martyn Sadler also waxed lyrical about Horney in this week's League Express, describing himself as a "lifelong fan" of Horne and that he was nearing the form that saw him in the GB squad a few years ago.

Great to see Horne playing so well again and it's going to be interesting when Miller gets here. I don't want to see Horne dropped but want to see Miller in the team too and see what he's capable of. Glad I'm not PG!

Anybody else think we could see Miller make a cameo at Castleford off the bench? If he gets here of course...

maybe miller will get a bench stop and be used as an impact halfback, it's a pretty unorthodox approach but Houghton can play 80 and Horne is versatile and can cover many positions so if we took an injury in the backs horne would fill in and miller comes on. just a thought

obviously I don't see this as a long term solution.

This is key for me ^^^ I got the feeling there was too much pressure on him to control the game before.
