[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Nope, I was working for the club at the time and just had a feeling of dread in the week leading up to the game. I'd won the £50 on dominoes of all things, so wasn't really playing with real money.
I thought the Saturday night in the players' htel would be a sombre affair, far from it, you'd have thought we'd won from the way the players were celebrating. Mebbe they'd had a bet too?

cartoons/WB17.gif I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

| Quote: boardwalkempire "not the best of topics for a friday evening. 83 by far the worst for me.
We beat Fev comfortably week or two before the cup final in a league game.'"
The previous Sunday we defeated Leeds in a Premiership semi-final in the pouring rain. I can distinctly remember standing there, soaked to the skin, watching us throw the ball around like it was a hot August day playing with total confidence and complete freedom.
I honestly believed we could not lose the following week, it was inconceivably to me after the way we had been playing during the closing weeks of the League campaign (including ripping an excellent rovers side apart at Boulevard one night).
If truth be known, I've never fully trusted an FC side from that day to this. I'm always waiting for them to trip up once more. There is always a nagging doubt at the back of my mind that ultimately it will all go pear shaped eventually. The events of the last thirty years have (a couple of isolated occasions apart) tended to prove me right.
By far the single worst day I've expeirenced as a black & white, as it appears to be for most others of my vintage.

| If it is due to games then 83 was one of the worst times probably more down to the shock of actually losing then anything else.
However my worst day would have been Lloyd doing his best to ruin us.

| the 83 cup was before my time
for me it would be Castleford away 2009, just completley fell apart, Rangi Chase beating us almost single handedly, the journey back made think how far I'd seen us rise for us to fall down just as quickly and I didn't look forward to going to games as much as before for the rest of that season

any defeat to rovers is a dark day but that was embarassing

| The Wigan game at the Boulevard in the Challenge cup in 94 was equally painful to watch . Winning 21- 6 at h/t I think , Only to lose 21-22 . We'd have drawn Fev in the Q/F's

Rose was sin binned, which was the first sinbinning at Wembley. Terry Hudson was sinbinned later in the game for a foul on David Topliss (as mentioned he had previously been involved in the incident that led to Kevin Harkin being carried off).

Beat me to it...Hudson kicked Harkin in the head, anyway, worst days for me was the Walsh/Lloyd and various idiots as C.E.O era and nearly going out of buisness. They was the worst days ever but we was saved by Barry Lilleys astute thinking.

1999 was a nightmare season. We only won five games all year and at one point had played eighteen and won just one. I particularly remember us chucking away a home game to Sheffield on the Easter Monday and being hammered at home by Cas and London.

| I was gutted in 83, genuinely thought we would do the business at Wembley. Just an awful game, so disappointing.

| 83 was bad. David Hobbs scored right in front of us. I was probably too young to fully appreciate what an opportunity we'd missed though.
The Lloyd era was worse though. The bad feeling just seemed to accumulate. At least when you lose a CC final you know you're good enough to get there, but in the late 90s things were just desperate week in week out
