| Yeaman's done more than enough over his career to pick which side he wants. Neither Crooks nor Arundel are anywhere close to him at the minute.

| Echo what others have said, bad luck just when he was coming into some form.
Hopefully we can start getting some troops back for Wigan, lets hope for some good news on Holdsworth soon.

No, he plays where he's told for the good of the whole team.

| Gutted for him, as he has improved a lot after a very disappointing first few games.

What? Can we anticipate a change of avatar to Yeamo's mug to complete your tail-wagging-dog scenario?

Crooks and Arundel are nowhere near what Yeaman is capable of, but they've not been so far off what he was producing prior to injury (so I disagree with you about 'at the minute', that should include current form as well as capability). It's a judgement call for Gentle, and one that I won't personally be inclined to disagree with whichever way he goes, I can see the argument for both courses of action.

Yeaman is an international, established Super League centre with over ten years experience. His position is left centre, that's where he wants to play and that's where Gentle will play him. It's quite that simple.

He'll play left centre, it makes no sense to move him. Crooks is our cover, he moves.

Well done on spectacularly missing the point.

Makes plenty of sense if Gentle thinks it would be better for the team. Not saying that is the case, but your stance that Yeaman should just get to pick is b*****ks. Same goes for the automatic categorisation of Crooks as cover. Player pecking orders can and do change.
Like me, you're an admirer of Westerman and think he does better in the 2nd row. Your reasoning of experience and international recognition carrying more weight would have him as 5th choice when our squad is fully fit and not getting a game. Would you agree with that?

| Yeaman has been a good servant to the club but I think the potential of both Arundal & Crooks is more than Yeaman can offer going forward.
I said at the start of the year I thought offering Yeaman an extra year so early was a highlight of the not knowing about Horney, that he(Horne) has been our best, most consistant player to me kind of makes Yeaman's extension a bit dubious looking. if we are looking to the future and want our wingers to be more than crash bang wallops I don't Want Yeaman to be a feature in 2014. Defence aside he is killing (& has killed) that side of the park for far too long

You're not daft enough to think I meant that literally, are you? The others I have reservations about, but not you.
I understand your reasoning with Westerman, but he's been by far our best 2nd rower. Yeaman, even when he's not playing particularly well, is by far better than Crooks or Arundel in defence alone. Gentle has also alluded to not playing players out of position, playing on the other side of the pitch is just the same. Crooks has played right and left, maybe he's more comfortable on the right than Yeaman? Who knows, but I'd be shocked if Yeaman didn't go straight back on the left.
