| Good news and well deserved. Bit of a stop start season last time, so hopefully he can stay relatively injury free in 2013

| Great news, fantastic servant to the club and still got a couple of decent seasons in him.

| Cant fault the lads commitment or loyalty.
Would be good to see him go north of 200 tries for us. If he is free from injury that would be a realistic target.

| Good news, will likely be a one-club man and I'm glad it was us. Be interesting to see if he stays in the centres for the rest of his career, though. If Arundel & Crooks develop well the 2nd row could come calling as he gets older.

| Really not fussed, rather see him get a one year extension at the end of this season & see how our young guns go during this season and next. He's a loyal servant no doubt and a very good performer on his day but doesn't do enough over a season for my money. On top of that any winger on his side will always get short shrift from him. Personally it smacks of a cheap option for when Horne goes re the counting of the salary cap.

The coaching staff have seen fit to offer a long term contract. That probably says a lot, not just regarding on field but off it too. Has a try ratio of 1 less than every 2games, considering we've played without halves for yrs. If he'd been at Leeds Wigan wire or saints it would probably be 200n counting already. The winger thing is the most over blown thing amongst hull fans. Yes at times has been a little greedy, but them few times end up like the worst Chinese whispers ever. By the end of the season the 4/5 possible opportunities blown have become 20/25. Briscoe is racking a try count outside him and Raynor scored over a hundred tries outside him. The amount of times we've got the ball or scored directly from opposition losing the ball from a yeaman hit over the yrs must be in the dozens compared to tries conceded from rushing, another overrated area he's criticised for. Not to mention players having to leave injured due to being smashed. Personally more than happy with the resigning

| I just think we are putting all our eggs into one basket with a 2 year extension, and I don't agree with you saying a 'little' greedy, he is poor at putting his winger away, full stop. And no, it isn't just 4 or 5 a year, seen him do 3 chances in one game though scored one himself which isn't the point.
Whether that be the pass itself or indeed holding onto it, he does it countless times in situations were the winger would score easier, or indeed ensure a try is scored at all.
Not saying the coaching staff aren't able to make the right decision at any given point, however a 1 year extension gives us options which wouldn't see him going anywhere else at the age of 31 in any case.

If Kirk Yeaman is considered all eggs in one basket then thats a pretty damn good egg basket to have . if that lad wanted to leave everyone in SL would speak to him simple as that, in two years he may well be in 2nd row for all we know but right now he is still in my opinion a first name on the team sheet type player
