Well as of 8pm last night, the deal was still in the making with both Chase and AP telling me they hope it happens
I doubt that AP does business at 8am on a Sunday morning....

He's always been a 6. If Wayne Bennett thinks he's a 6, he's a 6.

I was just ammusing Sebasteeno by talking crap.
The chase deal is still very much ON and he I still believe, as I have all along, will be in black and white next year

Agree, Chase would be fantastic, but there wouldn't be many better half back pairings than Holdsworth and Seymour in SL.
For me, Seymour's distribution/passing is generally excellent. Obviously never a runner, but a bit disappointed with his kicking and lack of dominance in attack. Have heard the main reason his kicking is erratic is due to a knee injury, which may be chronic! Maybe he had an Adam Dykes medical.

| Think Holdsworth showed in the exiles game how good he can be when he has better players around him, the fact Salfords back 5 have all scored 10 or more tries shows how good he is playing out wide and if he and McDonnell can click our backs will get some great service.

Galea will also help with this.

| I would`nt get too carried away with the prospects of DJ if I were you lot. You`ve only seen him play a few games. Trust me, he is not as good as some think he is. His kicking game is terrible most of the time, and his shots at goal are very erratic. He can pop them over from the sidelines , yet miss the sitters in front of the sticks [ usually just when you need the two points ] Best of luck to him anyway.

| This season Holdsworth has 21 try assists from 25 games.
In comparison, Horne has 13 from 19 games, and Seymour has 11 from 22 games. McGoldrick has gotten 5 in 8 games.
I would be very happy with his signing, I think he's a good player.
I'm looking forwards to see who the other halfback will be. Pearson has stated that we will be signing 2 new halfbacks from a shortlist of 4.

| It would be interesting to see how he went with Heremaia who has looked better than Seymour at seven this year.

We need Azza and Houghton on the pitch at the same time IMO - two of our most effective players and a waste to have them simply rotating at hooker.

Depends if we get a top half to partner Holdsworth.
He was brought in to do exactly that, rotate with Houghton, and that's where we'll be most effective imo.

| I was hoping you'd get chase and this would fall through, holdsworth will organise and direct you lot chase is nothing more than an overrated show pony.
Very good signing this if it happens.
