| As enjoyable as it was, it can't really be classed our greatest performance due to the standard of the opposition. There have been any number of games against top class teams which supercede last night (most of which have already been mentioned).
One question though, was last night the biggest away victory in the club's history in terms of the scoreline?

| Battering Warrington in the play offs with John's over for his payday was a sensational performance IMO
Leeds at home this season wasn't too shabby either
I don't remember too much of the Invincibles game first hand but have watched it back numerous times it was one of the best performances ever.
given how we had Skerrett out & replaced with a fairly old Mick Harrison (who more than held his own btw) and Bridges wasn't exactly a mobile hooker compared to Wileman we nearly embarressed them
Saints semi in 2005 for me is the most complete performance though

| 91 prem final against a star studded Widnes team. Defence was awesome whilst scoring one of the best try's ever to grace Old Trafford.
Saints semi a close second for me

| Agree about the Saints semi and treating. It as our cup final as I thought we'd get mullered.
My fave game was against L**ds in the early eighties. It was a night match and they came to the Boulevard having won their first seven league fixtures, sitting proudly at the top of the table and we shafted them. Lee Crooks got a hat trick IIRC, Kemble, Leuluai, O'Hara and some bloke called Schofield tore them apart. It was either 35-0 or 35-5 and that was when a try was only 3 points. I remember Harry Gration banging on about it on Look North the night after, he loved Hull FC then.

Oh yeah, forgot about that one, absolutely stuffed them and you were right on the 35-5 scoreline, we did them at their place 20-0 too

Agreed. There was one in the league and one in the cup I think. I remember arriving back in the pub announcing 'champagne rugby' after the league victory. We really did put them to the sword that day with a magnificent display both in attack and defence.

| CC Semi-Final 2005 against St. Helens for me personally
The 1991 Final against Widnes was before my time so couldn't possibly comment but if people are saying that it was better than my pick then i would love to see it
A game that does come to mind is v KR at home 2008, we were having a terrible league campaign and didn't hold much hope for this. first half was as close as any derby and we looked really up for it. second half was just all FC and the Briscoe try was the moment that we knew we had won the game. We then backed that performance up the following week against Wakefield in the other CC semi I've been to
