One of my best mates married Johnny Whiteley's edest Granddaughter. He gave me a lift to Piper from the KC after we beat Bradford to get to the 2006 GF (took about 45 min to walk across the carpark to his car).

Also shared an hour or so with him between the dinner and the reception at the wedding last year. I drank a bottle of red, he drank coke and told me about the old GB tours.

Don't think most people on here will know what pre Devlin was.Remember Gary and Rob Nolan on the docks,Gary and early mornings didn't go together.

About a year ago I walked past Brad Hepi outside Gloucester Hospital. I should have said Hi, but we'd already passed by the time I worked out where I knew him from. I don't expect to see ex Hull players down here!

I see Paul King coming off the 18th nearly every Saturday morning and we're heading to the 1st tee.
In the past I've seen Paul Cooke, Richard Horne, Graeme Horne, Danny Tickle there also (I played a few holes with Tickle. Play was slow and I was on my own behind him and his friend so he offered if I fancied to join his group).
Also played an ex-Rovers association golf day earlier this year where we saw Blake Green, Ryan O'Hara, Graeme Horne and I think it was Scott Murrel.
Seen a few out in town on a night out before (shared a taxi home once with Sir Richard of Whiting!).

Seen a few players with their kids at Big Fun down National Ave when I've taken my lad down there. Saw Adam Dykes with his offspring there just after he'd signed for Hull. Didn't know who he was at the time but heard his Aussie accent and noticed he was with Matt Sing. Had I known then what I now know I'd have advised him to get away from those boisterous 6 and 7 year olds and their rough and tumble sharpish. Danny Tickle often takes his kids in there as well.

Used to do the occasional job at the Buccaneer Pub in Brough when Len Casey had it and also the Starfisher chip shop he had opposite Darley's Pub on Boothferry Rd roundabout.

Also worked with Tony Dukes for a while when he was fitting kitchens for some property developer geezer.

George Robinson was labouring for a builder I know called Jim a few years since.

Worked on a Summer room extension at Neil Hudgell's house about 6 years ago, I know he's not a player but I have a feeling he's involved in RL in some capacity or other.
