If we don't sign a good fullback I'd put Briscoe there straight away, his agility, strength, and speed are wasted on the wing when he doesn't get much service

We do need to get Briscoe on the ball more though. If we didn't play with split halves then he wouldn't be needed to play with ball in hand as much.

I've said for a long time we need to ditch our split halves system. Our move for Chase gives me hope that we are doing.

Thought he was very good with the ball but his timing was off on a few occasions the only time everything went in sync was when Seymour linked up with him to put Foster away for his try.

I would keep him on the wing and look for another fullback going into next season but try to work Briscoe more into the middle of the pitch on some set plays around the ruck though.

Ten more meters and he'd have been caught, but tremendous effort to save the try in the South East corner.

What a try saver from Briscoe very much deserved man of the match.

Two seasons ago when we played the Aussies Briscoe (on his GB debut)did the same thing, but on that occasion he stripped the ball in the tackle and took off with it. However because the ref had given a penalty and the ball was brought back for an infringment the sky team never even mentioned what was probably the best piece of skill in the whole game. The lad is certainly a great player.

True but that's sky for you but if it had been anyone else sky would of been all over it.

Before today I thought no, after today, I think YES. Briscoe could be a brilliant fullback. yeah mistakes will come but the brilliance with more ball will be supreme

Yeah and we'll need a 3rd as back up. Crookes is average and wouldn't want him been a first choice winger.

Briscoe had a good game. But let's not forget the fact that he also threw out some poor passes (just before half time, giving possession away yet again within a minute of half time) and he bombed a try in the first half after not taking Turners pass.

If he had a centre that passed tp him on the wing, he would naturally see more of the ball being our most potent attacking threat.

Hence why I keep saying Yeamo needs to be moved to the right!
