Judging by how the RFL have handled the licences in the past the only way forward would be for an independent assessor to analyze them in the future.

... In the SLE press release, I wonder if its been bought short term to stave off liquidation, and extend the time to get a new bid/owener that is acceptable to the RFL etc in, rather than a permenant arangement?

It also says nothing about retaining the SL status or suchlike, so perhaps not quite as cut and dried, as some people think.
