Taylor is a very good player and one I really hope we are looking at, he's out of contract at the end of the year and at the moment is not looking at extending is deal with rovers. I know Leeds are interested and really hope we are too.

From our point of view if we are interested in him, his selection for England was a massive bonus as it has put him in a great position for negotiations with Rovers.

His haste to scorn FC's last minute capitulation in Manchester was impressive, including his forthright advice that we had only ourselves to blame. Missed the FM coverage, but would be interested to hear what he had to say and how it compares.
