Disagree with that. The players that left amateur clubs at the age 16 have been significantly better. The problem is when they sign for FC at 16's they dont seem to progress as much as the rovers lot. Don't know if it's down to coaching or what. The same goes for other SL clubs. The amateur hull teams always do better than other rivals teams in the Yorkshire and national cups but as soon as they hit 16 other progress better.

Not surprised that Bowden is playing. It's his first game back after surgery so it would have been too much to throw him straight into the derby.
With both him and Radford playing I would assume that we will see Green playing in the derby.

If there's a Super League player in either of those teams I'd be surprised. Rovers' Number 10 looked good going forward put was a windbag in defence. Best player for us was our FB.

We were pretty terrible today, Rovers ran harder and faster, I thought their 10 (Griffin) was by far the best player on the pitch.

They're in for extra training tomorrow night too, so the coaches weren't impressed either.

It was simply a case of every single Rovers player being better than their opposite number today. Beat us in every department.

Didn't Sheriffe score 2 or 3 today. Set the ball rolling by out jumping Shaul for the 1st try under the sticks. Agree that Shaul was our only decent player today.
