The same sort of idea i was having.After reading the info regarding pass outs though it appears as though we have to stay within the Etihad complex
A pass out/return system will be operated on both event days allowing spectators to move between City Square & the Stadium bowl – there is no limit on the number of times someone is allowed to pass out and re-enter. |

does anybody know wether they've got anything organised for outside the ground, beer tents, owt for kids etc.
I think we're starting on the Salford Quays. If nothings going on around the ground we'll probably stay in the city centre until nearer the time.

to be fair, from the rfl's point of view the last thing they want are fans in the city centre when there are games on. this is why it always looks poor on tv because typically folk only show for their game, leaving vast areas of empty seats on view. don't think its too much to ask supporters to watch the other games as well - should be plenty of entertainment on the pitch
