| Great day of rugby thoroughly enjoyed it.
I thought both the Hull U15 and U16 deserved to win and were the stronger sides but both were cracking games of rugby.
I actually thought Hulls U18 looked physically superior to Rovers but simply never turned up. A poor effort by the Hull pack in particular was disappointing but hats off to the sheer enthusiasm from the Rovers side. Rovers scrum half Beherrel? was the best player by a country mile in this game.

| I thought the Hull FC lads did us proud and the Old Faithful from the changing room after the U16's was great. They really deserved that game although they made it hard for themselves at times. Don't know the names but the black lad on our left wing and the centre were great, plus Josh Wood at scrum half.
The pre-match warm-ups from both sides were good. Rovers full of 'let's get at em' stuff and Hull's just like the first team drills which shows the ethic PG is trying to instill. I agree, some of the Rovers lads looked like fully grown blokes Hmmm but they had the penalty count and the determination. Well done lads.

Yes that was the KR 7 you are talking about? Thought he had a really good game but would say was second best player on the pitch. Thought the FC number 9 looked a class above anything else on the pitch not sure of his name, went off injured with around 5 to go. Didnt think our 7 had a bad game idea but we seemed to lack a bit of cohesion dont think going so far behind against the wind in first half helped.

Hull's number 9 was James Cunningham who looks the real deal but his pack were very poor today IMO. Rovers had the wind first half and the right attitude which killed the game. Fair play I was very impressed by their team spirit.
Our number 7 was very busy and looks good think he is called Wilkinson?

No I was talking about our U16,s 7 Josh Wood, great young prospect and a class act even now, I do agree that the number 9 Cunningham for the U18's was a cut above the rest in that game.

You suggesting Rovers are breaking the rules?... you cant even a get a lad playing up into service area so dont bother suggesting impropriety of ANY kind!

Most of our 18's came up from the U16's this season.

Yeah, coz i cant imagine that the Hull FC boys would notice that the kids that they had played with and against all their lives had suddenly disappeared to be replaced by "bigger boys". Idiot.
Three good games. Hull deserved the first 2, Rovers the last one. Some great prospects on both sides. The future is bright.

Rest assured mate that they were all actually under 18s! The Rovers line up was actually predominantly under 17.

So Dobbo didn't play 7?
Just interested to see if any of the young lads who toured out here played.

Only Beharrell and Esslemont toured out of those that played today. Danny Kelso has had a cross- hemisphere twitter war with Willie Mason but not sure that counts.

| Thought it was a joke when got told the 18s had lost and looking at the teams it's even more surprising. Individually that Hull side is far superior and more experienced than the Rovers lineup
