Hargreaves has just signed a new 3 year deal at the Roosters. I think we'll go British in the prop department, Johnson at Wakey and Watts from Rovers, with Taylor following next year. Although Leeds are in for Taylor also.

I'd offer Aspinwall an extension with a view to him playing Prop tbh. I think he's played very well this season.


Not so sure about Watts, by all accounts he's had a disappointing last couple of seasons.

Maybe, I'd say there's better options about.
Can't think of many others that started their career on the wing and finished it at prop though!

I reckon O'Meley will go and Moa more than likely. O'carroll is looking good but his injuries are a real concern. I think we'll sign an overseas prop and an English one too, along with an overseas outside back.

He looks very unfit this year, but so did Wovers entire pack so no concern there. He's been a bit 'off' since the incident with Cockayne, maybe a change of club is what he needs.
Pearson has said we have young future internationals in the bag, we need props, so I sincerely hope Taylor & Johnson have at least been thought of. Along with Mossop they're the best young props in the league.

Doesnt always matter with overseas players alot come when still got year or 2 left on contract

people who are laughing at colin best and ben pomeroy are not nrl watchers surely, been two of the best in the nrl

If Gentle is going to be going for a more mobile pack then Aspinwall would fit into that.

He's put in some good performances this year and would be easily available for us to sign up. Also, with the ambition shown by the Ellis signing he may wish to stay.

I wouldn't see him getting too many chances at loose forward - we have Westerman, Whiting, even Ellis, as well as Kent coming through and looking good.


As for a centre, with the way things have gone so far I would be happy with Turner and Yeaman being our starting centres. However, I would like us to sign another centre to give a bit of competition to the spots and also provide good cover.


Like I said in this thread earlier, Kieran Foran would be a tremendous signing as a halfback but quite unlikely.
