Spot on,both alright running on to the ball 5 mtrs from the line but their lack of graft in defence lets them down.None of our forwards took a backward step and tackled like terriers, what a breath of fresh air Peter Gentle has brought to the club.

| Our pack was superb.Fit, mobile and willing to keep the ball alive. Relentless in the tackle also. Rovers pack were embarrassing, the biggest bunch of puddings I've seen in SL.

| For me, Whiting was the key to unlocking the Rovers defence. But a fantastic display from everyone today.

| All of our forwards played well today for me. Radford stepped in surprisingly well, Bowden just looks more and more comfortable at this level, and Pitts showed some promising signs.
Agree about there being several puddings in the Rovers pack, Murrell looks so out of shape and slow, neither Hodgson nor Wheeldon did anything to suggest letting them go were mistakes, and I was really surprised at just how little Mika offered TBH. Even Taylor and Watts are amongst the 1 hour wonders brigade.

| Whiting's second spell was great and his offloads created holes in the KR defence. Was also solid in defence.
Pleased with Bowden. Only just turned 20 this year but hasn't looked out of place at all and can only kick on (and who better than Andy Lynch to have as a role model and mentor?).
Lynch solid as usual.
Aspinwall really stood up, I thought. At a time when we're light in the forwards he gave 100% and never let us down, made some good metres. If Gentle is looking to have a more mobile pack I wouldn't be surprised if he offered Aspinwall a contract extension with a view to him playing at prop (after all, Gentle does keep saying 'recruitment starts from within').

I agree , Great effort from the pack yesterday , 9 games into the season and their forwards shouldn't be blowing like they where, even in the first half the signs were there .

Said during and after the game that they don't look fit. Slow getting back when we kicked (at one point they had 7 still behind our defensive line on the first tackle) and slow moving up (thought ref had blown up for something as they just stopped and let Danny H run 9 yards).
I'm not celebrating because we over ran them as its no great achievement. But the signs are very good and we have serious potential.

Whiting's second spell was great with ball in hand - his first was equally as good in defence and kick pressure.
All the forwards were exceptional and there is a real spirit and determination to play for each other.

His offloads seems to be something he's been working on. For the Yeamo try you can see he held off passing it early to Turner and waited till he drew the winger (Hall?) before offloading. Great stuff Rich!
