Thanks for the welcome tonight and to anyone who put a few pence in the buckets thank you also. Great game of RL I thought but we desperately need BJ fit for Leeds next week. As for the halfwits on this thread, well we all have a few.

Spot on, it was an excellent try. He is right though about the poor tackling, but good try nonetheless

The league is dog eat dog and yeah i feel for bradford and their fans because we have been in that situation ourselves but when it comes to 2 points then im sorry buy i couldnt give a toss about bradford all i care about is hull fc and when the scores are so close what kind of message does cheering a opposistion try give to our lads

I don't see the problem, I've quite often applauded the opposition if they score a try that was almost undefendable.

Quote: TrevLovesJanice "Well said, I think all this sympathy for a club that once epitomised arrogance is frankly nauseating.

They were quite happy to steal our players and quite happy to allow players like Graeme Bradley to slag us off repeatedly. What goes around comes around.

I did not applaud them, or their repulsive mascot, although did applaud both teams for putting on a great display of good old fashioned tough rugby. They deserve credit for that but that's as far as it goes.'"

Good old fashioned tough rugby too right, that first half was realkly tough reminded me of the early days of the Brian Smith era when we won games on guts determination and the belief that whatever team we put out we could win. Thats what good coaches do!

No try is undefendable, theres a time and place to applaued good trys but a team scoring a equalising try is not the time nor the place i would of like to have seen ther faces had bradford gone on to win the game i bet they wouldnt of applauded then

I've just arrived home and have not read anymore but your post - I could not believe it. I love Rugby League and the crack that goes with speaking with Fans from other clubs but please. My Husband popped a coin into the begging bowl and I could not believe it. What was that all about - Nobody likes Hull folks and I am sure that in the future Bradford fans will not care about us. Get it sorted people who run Bradford if you dont go down a division and start again. - Glad we won tonight by the way.

I clapped the Bulls onto the field and I'll tell you why. It's because I remember being at the Boulevard, watching what we all thought would be Hull FC's last game, it was gutting, and I wouldn't wish it on any fans. Ok people say, They wouldn't bother about us, or so and so wouldn't clap them on, but we are Hull FC, and are to my mind are wee bit special.
Thank you and good night!

Nobody bothered about us especially bradford when they took radford and vaikona and how much did they care about other teams when they were splashing the cash and buying the best players available and winning everything, they made there beds let them lie in it its not our or any other teams fault their fans have deserted them now they aint so succesful

I wouldn't call it soft. Shows that RL is a tight knit community.

I'd like to thank all the Hull fans who clapped our players, its not them who got us into the mess. Thanks for any donations, and thanks to Lynchy for clapping the fans too.

The bulls fans gave Hull a standing ovation when we ran onto the pitch in the game following the CC win in 2005 (and then hammered us with fat les scoring 6)

Better Dead than red!:

I can understand clapping Bradford for their fans, I can understand clapping Widnes for not giving in and scoring the previous time at the KC. But I will not understand if we clap next Friday!

Agreed! I clapped because this is Rugby League. Calling Hull soft for clapping a team with financial troubles?!? Please! I can't believe so many people agreed with him.

Clapping in this case was a bit different, a one off as some of us shared their predicament, thats all. I put money in the box as I want to do a little bit to help keep a club alive. Its not the fault of the players or the fans. We could just do nothing of course and then do the same if another of the famous clubs go, and another. Then where will we be ??

And clapping a good try........thats nothing to do with their predicament its just a reflex reaction that sometimes happens when you see something very good in sport.

To me Its not a matter of thinking would they do the same for my club before I put a couple of quid in their save the Bulls fund.
