| Either way - the Physio is not allowed to speak to the match official - but he will know he cannot be sent off unlike a trainer.

| Wow, right hand side and attack behind the ruck. Derby tactics sorted.

| While I think Ganson has to maintain his authority and the physio shouldn't be telling him how to do his job, I hope he regrets using a rhetorical question to do it. Made him look like a psychopath teacher. We all make mistakes, of course.

Why would ganson regret it? The physio has no right suggesting something was amiss with the tackle, particularly when nothing was. ganson should have told him to get dobson off the field and restarted the game instead of giving rovers a breather

A rhetorical question in that situation looks bullying. If he'd said 'Don't speak to me like that' or 'mind your own business', then fair enough, the lad can keep his head down and has the option of contrition. By turning it into a question, unless he's willing to accept an answer (which he wasn't, it seemed to me), he's requiring the physio to be complicit in his own humiliation. Now, it happened quickly, so that degree of analysis is bordering on the ridiculous, but if he reflects on it I'd hope he'd see it as a minor, heat of the moment mistake. Not an easy job, by any stretch.

Bullying my ass. The physio wrongly shot his mouth off and was put in his place by ganson. Good on him, particularly if the physio swore as has been suggested

Not the point I was making.*
Ganson could have put him in his place, without himself looking bad.
The only positive from the physio's POV, was that I don't think he said anything further despite Ganson's snidey Napoleon-syndrome provocation

| The physio should have stfu. He seemed to signal that Dobson was coming off, and then he stayed on for what looked like a cry on his shoulder, then got his chin bandaged back on and played on. Was hilarious!!

Quite. "Err, no, I was just saying" " Yes you was..."(talking to me). Comedy Gold.
Thought Ganson was lenient in allowing Dobson to weep copiously on the physio's shoulder and then receive treatment. Presumably he decided the shame was part of the punishment.

"Weep copiously?" What an over the top comment! Then, I expect no less, on a thread about the Rovers game on Your board. Add that to the fact you won last night and everyone comes out the wood work with the cocky comments! Weren't so cocky as a set of fans after your narrow win over Wakey and when Salford beat you! That is what I like about the FC fans, your so predictable! It's almost comforting
