| Thought will sharpe played well today. his best performance in a black an white shirt.
Had an early set back when he tried to block the ball in first half but got better through out the game.
i think we could start seeing more tries down the right now and it being more stable

| Great display from Sharp today. It'll do his confidence the world of good.
He's been our form winger this season by some distance.

Absolutely. And didn't he do well.
Agar - after ruining him last season - decided to attempt to bury him further by ensuring his kickers targeted Sharp all night. Nice person. Whoops, Rich, darling - you bargained for last season's Sharp who'd lost all confidence through being hung out to dry by his oh-so-supportive mentor and coach.
Great to see Will stick two fingers up at you and take every high ball brilliantly - a couple under great pressure - just shows what can happen with a solid, experienced centre next to you and a bit of self-belief engendered by a coach who works with you, not against you.
Never have I been happier to cast my vote for a MOM - this can only make his self-belief and therefore his game even better.

| Got the usual numpties complaining he should have taken an early kick on the full despite the fact the only way he could get their would have been to dive full length forward which is an eveb higher risk play then letting the ball bounce. It was just a good kick but some fans were just itching to find an excuse to have a go at him.

Once Sharp had taken a couple of the bombs with ease Wakey were lost. There kicking game was sloppy, finding a defender nearly every time. Had our kicks in Wakey's 20 been better we'd have won the game easily.

| Really pleased for the lad,his confidence must have been shot last season due to Agar and some of our fans, but he has stuck it out and looks like he could advance further.Well done to him.

Not sure about that. From where I was I did think he could have maybe got to it if he'd followed the flight a bit better. I think he didn't help himself by waving his leg at it either, once it was going to bounce he should have just made sure he stayed on balance to recover once it did.
Either way, had a belter of a game, and it was actually great to see that he didn't let that incident affect him for the rest of the match.

Whether he could have got their or not is irrelevant. Once he obviously wasn't going to get there he did the right thing IMO and people insinuating he bottled it clearly have an agenda (not suggesting that's what your saying) everytime he is in a position to catch the ball he will attempt it. He doesn't "let" the ball bounce, he either gets there or he doesn't. I disagree he should have got to that one by the way, the wind seemed to hold it up and he didn't really have a chance to get to it.

| At the end of the day he fielded the ball and retained possession. As he did all day in fact.

I don't think he bottled it, I just think he misjudged the flight. And it's because it held up in the wind that I think he 'could' have got to it (i.e. he had the time). It was a tough one to read though.

| The fact it held up in the wind meant it was coming down a lot further away from him then he would have anticipated. As you say a tough one to read and I don't personally attach any blame to him for not taking it on the full.

Was going to point out the wind held it up.
Great game from Will today.
