Hopefully there isn't too much in the absence of Lynch and Heremaia. Smailes said that he thinks Heremaia has an injury but that he has no idea why Lynch isn't playing. |

Liked to have seen Crooks ahead of Turner.Maybe didnt want Lynch playing against his former team in a friendly and meaningless match

I understand why Turner's in, I presume that Gentle is wanting to have a last look at him and Martin in a competitive match to see who will get into the side for the Wolves match. Personally I thought that Martin was the better against Rovers.
I'd have still liked to have seen Crooks get 5-10 minutes towards the end, though. I thought that he looked good and showed a lot of promise when he came on last week. |
