We're talking about "Radders" who is a dobbins fan and fooked off to Bradford at a glance when he had already agreed terms with us.

He then came back to us for 6 very mediocre seasons, at the end of which he had no problem whatsoever to be within minutes of signing for the dobbins.

Forgive me for being a little dim but are we all supposed to now reward him for his "loyalty" by giving him our hard earned cash as some kind of lump sum pension payment?

I think it should be okay as its a friendly but I hope someone has checked to make sure that Radders playing doesnt make part of his coaches salary count on the cap like Andy Last's did.

Same apparently excellent last night, and Nicklas was very good also. I think as a fan it is reassuring though that we have h/backs fighting to impress the gaffer. Hopefully Horney will realize he has competition knocking and raise his game on Sunday.

Ok i know it was our first hit out last Sunday and you do expect the players to be rusty, but what i saw of Horney, he really does have to step up big time.I was a tad disappointed in his all round game.I am really looking forward to seeing Ellis in the first team and if Horney does not start putting in better performances, i can see Ellis getting a chance sooner rather than later.

Couldn't agree more. Sunday was disappointing, especially given all the build up of "training the house down" etc.. but one of the things I was looking forward to was seeing Ellis get some game time. However, I think he only got a pointless 5 minutes at the end.

I won't be going on Sunday but I hope Ellis gets a chance with Seymour and shows that he can offer more than Horne does (shouldn't be too difficult).

Doubtful he is not named in the squad (unless he is added on the day?)..

I cannot go Sunday as the lad is playing away and it will be too tight to get back, bit disappointed although more disappointed I have to tune into Gollum

Nicklas looked better than Ellis at York,and must surely be pushing Horne for the 6 position??? His kicking game at York was bang on.

Although I wasn't particularly impressed with Horne last Sunday, he was certainly no worse than Seymour. Other than his defense, I thought Seymour looked poor in all other aspects. The only difference is we can judge what Horne is capable of doing, and how often he does it. If we was picking purely based on last weeks performance, I'd start Ellis AND Nicklas!

Playing against Fev and York is a little different to playing a Hull derby.

I have no doubt Horne would have been a stand out player had he played against Fev and York.

I don't think it would count on a 'pre season friendly'
