In Adam we have trust
In peter we have belief
In our team we have pride: |
|
| I know this is a crazy idea but why dont we just sing old faithful like we used to, someone or a group start and then everyone joins in.You never know someone might even sing the second verse.

| As long as they don't do a reprisal of telling us to sing Old Faithful pre kick-off like at least years Wakefield game.
that was horrendous, as was the performance that followed...one of the worst experiences I have ever had as a Hull fan, the only good thing all evening was the 5-10mins of Agar booing and chanting at the end.

| I would love to hear the Dobbins music changed to Duelling Banjoes for a bit of a giggle at the up and coming derby.

Old Faithful sounds at its best when sung spontaneously and not when prompted by laughing boy on the mike. That really got on my thrupneys last season. Maybe they shouldn't extend the polly tunnel so that the East stand can get a better view of the players about to enter the island, sorry pitch. Perfect que to start the singing off and no need for a recorded/announcer type prompt. We should leave that to Bradford and there spongefinger wielding fans.

| But maybe some form of prompt is needed to get the singing started together. I wasnt suggesting a Bulls type thing, or some numpty telling us to sing, just something to kick start things

100% agree on the "sing when we're told to" sentiment.
I do think we could use better entrance music though. "This is our house" by Bon Jovi didn't do it for me. I do like a Kasabian guitar riff like Clubfoot which we used a few years ago, also Underdog. Not something you'd sing along too really. The version of Old Faithful we use isn't right- think we need something more contemporary.

Certainly worth considering. It will be a tough one to appease all fans but surely anythings better then last seasons efforts.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| How about given Airliebird a set of oversize cue cards to start the congregation. He could go round and do the 'Good Afternoon East Stand' bit before hand. Throw in a novelty cowboy hat for him and we're on to a winner.

| it shud be a rock anthem that can get the fans and players revved up, and then be turned off after FC have run out leaving it for us fans to sing old faithful up until the first hit up is made.
