| Extremely underwhelmed!
Let's hope and pray Rich's signings produce for us otherwise it'll be a long 2012.

Where did I say that? The talk was of a Manu type player or even Dale F, but this is average to say the least! Very underwhelming. For me it's the worse signing of the off season.

The last regime made better signings.'"
In fairness the old regime had the full cap to work with, AP has come in late on.

| Martin and Aspinwall are both risks but they could turn out to be shrewd signing? If the don't turn out well they only have one year contracts so will be moved on.

I get the feeling Seymour is on ridiculous money and from what i'm hearing from this side of the world i may be right.'"
In: Tony Martin, Jamie Ellis, Andy Lynch, Eamon O'Carroll, Wade McKinnon, Aaron Heremaia, Brett Seymour, Martin Aspinwall.
Out: Epalahame Lauaki, Danny Washbrook, Lee Radford, Sean Long, Craig Fitzgibbon, Ewan Dowes, Cameron Phelps, Mike Burnett, Martin Gleeson, Sam Obst.
Maybe.

| Quote: Dave K. "Another poor signing, much worst signings than Agar ever did.
I would have rather kept Obst.
This has Mcrae signings all over it, the type of signings he made at Salford.
Very disapointted.'"
Can Obst play second row, Dave? He adds depth and competition, gone from first string to second string. Not inspiring, but experienced back up.
Again, another case of fans believing their own hype.

True but surely we would have being better with one (quality) new player than 2 average player in Martin/Aspinwall.
I thought the day's of average was behind us.

Not a brilliant player but someone like Ferguson or Fulton.'" You got him.

| We've got three quality backrowers, supposedly a couple of young playeds pushing for first team selection and a general agitation for the latter to get more chances. This signing brings in very experienced back row cover but not a signing that would signal a lack of opportunity for the academy players. Seems quite sensible to me. I'm not a big Aspinwall fan at all, but understand the signing in the context of our squad.
