| Yeaman isn't international class but he did make a great last-man tackle to drag Uate(?) into touch and save a certain try.
I thought that Briscoe was good. Was very strong and made some good runs forward, breaking several tackles. Was robbed of a try by the ref, too.
Briscoe, Reed and Hall (fantastic 1st try!) look assured at this level. Hopefully we'll find someone else for the other centre spot for next year, as although Yeaman hasn't been bad he hasn't been great either.

| Same team again for next week barring injuries, although Rangi Chase looks unconvincing at this level.
Very impressed with Jack Reed, his part in the build up Ryan hall's second try was great play - Gleesonesque.

| One thing I hope Gentle eliminates from Yeaman's defensive game, is
that he shoots out the line ,and leaves Briscoe isolated.

| As soon as Wilkin came on you could kiss bye-bye to Yeamo getting any ball from his SR. Tickle would've been a much better option and he's a better goal kicker than that flaccid effort Sinfield.
Before Wilkin that wing looked much better in attack.

This is true. Reed did exactly the same and left Hall exposed for the game-changing try.

thing is with chase, as gifted as he is, imo he plays as an individual, at cas he is the big fish in the little pond and carries them, pulling all the strings, now he plays for england he should be using players around him more effectively, i've yet to see him do this in the last two games

but atkins isnt in the squad?
anyway yeaman will play seeing as its on his home ground next week
reed abit of a liability in defence so maybe cudjoe could come in for him, but think the back line will stay the same for next week
lets hope graham and ellis are fit

| Im still struggling to see the fuss about Heighington personally....would shift Sinfield to 13 next week and start with Maguire amd Widdop in halves....Confirmed what i have always though of chase today...big fish in small pond and vastly over-rated.

Agree about Widdop, but we've no real organising scrum-half there. Unfortunately I'd be amazed if all three of Graham, Ellis and Peacock were fit.
