i seen a few commments suggesting whats the point in bringing it up here in the heatlands but for me manchester is a massive city where alot of sporting media is now or going to be placed and as a sport weve got to take advantage of that and for taking the magic weekend there is a great idea 2 big crowds for both days in a great stadium

Manchester would be a great venue...
I reckon it would sell out both days as its more 'local' then Cardiff for most rugby fans in England...

the rfl cant win its either whats the point in taking it to cardiff ect when its 4 hours away and making league fans travel far and a costy thing and its played in a half empty stadium, then when there talk of bringing it to the heartlands some fans are moaning coz they dont want a day or weeked in manchester ect

personally would still prefer cardiff, just because it is away from the heartlands and is usually a good weekend for those that go

I still fail to see the point in the "Magic Weekend" especially in the north of England.

It should be scrapped and only one round of games played over the Easter weekend meaning 26 games and more importantly an equal playing field in terms of league fixtures per club.

Would love it to be in Manchester, not too far to travel and a great night out in Manchester, I reckon the stadiums would be how they should be...full!
