Think the publicity for this game was rubbish. I didn't really know what time it was or where it was happening, but had a quick look on a couple of websites this morning and couldn't find it easily. Not too far from me and might have organised to go. Anyway, well done to the Knights. Good to see Houghton on the scoresheet "scurry over from dummy half for his debut try" according to Clarky.

Presumably the game will have been videoed for analysis purposes and for other highlights? Doesn't even need any commentary to it, just the ability to watch the game.
Think the RFL are improving their marketing, but the publicity for todays game has been poor.

It still costs for bandwith etc... on the Internet.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

| Full france team being beaten by our reserves. The Knights would give the welsh a good battering as well.
As for Goulding...how did he get the job in 1st place....

| Went to the game today and was very impressed with Houghton and Westerman. As a Wigan fan I've seen McIlorum in every game and I can't understand how he got picked for the full England squad ahead of Houghton.
Westerman was quiet in the first half but in the second he got the ball a little more and really seemed to cause problems. He kept hitting the gaps between two defenders and getting his hands free looking for offloads and he ran in strong all game. He definitely looks more threatening as a wide running second row than he did playing at loose forward at Cas.

Cheers for that. Most seem to think he'll be 2nd row next year with Tickle at loose. Good to hear Houghton played well. Incredible work rate and energy and hope that he will combine well with Heremaia next season too.

| Would it be worth the knights playing England rather than the French?

Could you imagine the embarrassment for McBanana if the Knights won.
Be more beneficial than playing Cumbria mind.

For those of you like me looking for a report re the England Knights match v France.
www.englandrl.co.uk/article.php?id=23799
Take a look right at the bottom crowd 2071 the RFL & England set up really need to get their acts together. With a decent bit of publicity the numbers of people attending could have been FAR greater than this.
It is the end of our season & all over the TV we are being subjected to All Pile on & I & many others would have loved a chance to see the future stars of our game.
Come on the powers that be try a bit harder next time & try to raise the profile of our great game.
I think an email to the RFL coming on.
Does anybody else feel the same?

I've always thought it would be more useful doing a probable v possible game.
