Assumed he was still under contract with us and would have had an obligation to be part of match day if fit enough to do so. Must of agreed a comprimise with his contract.

Agar has to go regardless, he has had 4 years now and reaching the end of a shelf life of a RL coach. I also cannot forget how he plays the game when his job is not on the line.

| Something deffo changed/improved since AP took over !
Westy now playing as a ballplayer not another prop.
Enterprise all round the park - several players suddenly in prime form.
Even Luaki looked fit yesterday.
Suspect this is the AP influence, demanding better rather than AGAR suddenly becoming a good coach. AP obviously taken good advice and acted on it - amazing where basic professionalism can take you !!
Still hoping better coach high on agenda but agree he MAY have bought himself the start of next season.
Really hope we do upset somebody in the play offs - how sweet would it be to dump Leeds out at Headingley ? or unlikely ? Now that is a game in which our 'progress' can be measured not recent strolls against struggling squads.

Really?
Judging by his recent attitude towards the under 20's I wouldn't let him near them either.
How he's the coach of FC is something that I will never get my head around
Ex- York coach, coaching FC fcking joke

| Even at our best with Agar at the helm, we are way off the the pace of the top performing teams.

| We're definitely better than we were but our sudden upsurge in form has co-incided with us playing rubbish or out of form teams. We're still not as good as we should be with the salary cap spend we have and relatively few injuries

Maybe since the 'buy-out', and the recent good results, some of Richard Agar's control/influence has been reduced and given to someone else and that person, not Richard Agar is responsible in some small way to the change that has started to take place.
I am not attempting to belittle Richard Agar for recent good results. I have no-one in mind by the way. It is just a something I have been thinking sinc Mr Pearson took control of the club.

Or maybe some of agar's shackles have been taken off and he's now showing us what a great coach he is
