| Think houghton has a lot of improvement in him yet and even though a decent player think heremaia will be a better all round hooker

That wakey are rubbish?
Seymour was playig really well but broke his thumb/hand after about round 8 ish, the form of Johnson has kept him out and obviously NZW are looking to the future. Same as with McKinnon but with Moltzen also moving on, he is on the bench due to some below par performances.

| Aslong as McKinnon can keep injury free. He will prove to be a very season. Just hope he hasn't lost too much pace!

Yeah he is still a good player and am kind of glad that he is coming off the bench, reducing his risk of injuries!

| from what i have seen, and what a friend who lives in nz have told me,seymour is an excellent player who will look even better in the super league as it is sadly nowhere near the standard of the nrl...its just that johnson is their future and is an excellent player already.

Will also be interesting to see how effective he can be with our ptb (lack of) speed. We desperately need to quicken it up consistently if we want to get the best out of him. From what I've seen he could create a hell of a lot for us if we do.

His presence at dummy half might encourage quicker ptbs. He might be more demanding.

Hopefully. I think our forwards need to improve themselves too, though. Yet another area where a change of coach will help, with any luck.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| I think seymour's a good player in a good side and lost his place to the nextt benji, through injury, he's also at a good age and tbh if he wasnt that good he'd still be better than the set up we have, or more acurately don't have, now

Would have kept Phelps as he has been very good just lately

Whilst I agree that phelps has played well the last few games, when Mckinnon signed Phelps was having a few injury problems.
Mckinnon injury record has been very good this year, had a couple of bad games and was rightly dropped for one game and has been on the bench the last few games.
having seen them both play, Mckinnon is a massive step on Phelps at FB, Phelps is a decent utility back while Mckinnon is very good FB.
Reminds me of the Treister/Swain situation.
