It was a quality pick up at that speed but its not the best try that ive seen,

Couple of seasons back Thomas Bosc scored an amazing try. Chipped the defensive line, picked up the ball, then chipped the fullback, regained the ball and went in under the sticks.
If you google search 'Thomas Bosc Try' the first link is to a video on DailyMotion of a montage of Bosc clips. This try is the first clip on there if anyone wants a watch. Not sure if I'm allowed to link to Dailymotion or not.

I don't really remember it as I was 12 or 13 but my auntie who worked in the old clubhouse bar at the time used to take me to the away games & still says it was one of the best tries she's ever seen. I know we were a bit excited at the time 
The mead's one is not much to do with skill, great effort to be in the right place but huge amounts of luck with the ball bouncing into his hand perfectly. looks spectacular obviously but not much skill IMHO. |
