Warringtons stadium build cost only £6.8 million, yet other clubs
Wakefield, Castleford, Hull KR, Bradford, Crusaders can't afford new stadiums
Quins can't afford their own stadium.
Relevence you ask? We are not football and £6.8 is peanuts in football yet an absolute fortune in rugby, we can't pay those kind of salaries even with sugar daddies.
What supporters need to do instead of getting on our back about salary cap issues is question their own clubs recruitment policy especially those spending at cap limit that are under performing

Who said he went to warrington for more? He left Hull because of his missus, not money. He said at the time if it was about the money he'd have stayed |

That's fair enough, i dont happen to know either way. I just remeber at the time the paper reports suggested we got a 55k fee and he'd signed a deal worth 130k per year with warrington, which i assumed would be an increase. But then it was the HDM that reported those figures so with hindsight i should take them with a kilo of salt. |
