Sure i`ve just heard Radio Blunderside just said horne is not to have an operation but the club are monitoring his fitness ????????? so i`d say there gonna leave him in the squad until he needs it

I was taking the lad to training this morning so it was on the 10am bulletin saying he will be out for a month as he is having a hernia Op. Although Humberside are not always the best source of news  |

Like other posters I feel sorry for Richard Horne and I hope that he gets well quickly becasue he was beginning to play some good rugby. Regarding a replacement. I would like the coaching staff to be bold and consider moving Richard Whiting or Jordan Turner into the off-half position.
I am aware that there are some hard and important games coming up but with what should be hot weather and harder grounds 'around the corner', I believe either guile and or speed, will be what Hull need from the half backs and I think that either of these two players may be able to contribute those qualities better than previous replacements.
I would do this and keep Joe Westmerman in his current position, as a quick, ball-playing forward.[even though he has played in the half-backs in the past.
