Good afternoon out. Sam and Lauaki basically ran them ragged, thought Obst had a great game too. Would love to see the offload stats.
Nice to see Aldous on debut, Kent and Lyne - in hindsight should have rested more players but as I said earlier we'd not won a cup game in nearly 3 years, so no risk approach was understandable.

I did it amusing that a couple of dozy bints near us kept going mad when the crowd light-heartedly booed Whitings missed kicks. "bloody fickle fans were cheering him a minute ago" "it's out of order" "we still love you Whiting"

Oldham were the second worst visiting team I've seen at the KC this season.
It was never going to be a classic but all the first teamers came through unscathed, I think and there was some good experience earned by the youngsters.
Our first knock out win since July 2008!

lauaki ran them ragged? Do you mean manu? lauaki did nothing until the 79th minute. I think he's found his level in championship 1.
As for the game, these things are always difficult and the main thing is to come through with no injuries |
