And this is just the half of it!
Gleeson is arguably the most unsavoury character to play rugby league in this country in living memory, yet many fans are welcoming him to the club with open arms!
Australian clubs won't touch him even though he is offering his services for next to nothing in a desperate attempt to flea the country.
Was this really a signing the club had to make? |

My mistake. The thread was discussing Gleeson possibly looking overweight, hence your reponse to ICM. Then you posted the two links which had nothing to do with that subject. The troubles Gleeson has had have been covered and well documented already. |

Probably hearing the same things I did. Spoke to a few lads when we were down at Wigan this season and they went into a fair bit of detail the reason Gleeson was being let go. Made sense that he was looking to go to Aus. |

Indeed, I'd be interested to ask at the next forum if Gleeson has a clause in his contract that he can go if an offer is made by an NRL club in the closed season.

The OP was questioning his appearance and weight rather than his troubles as did most others on the first page.
Also Standee was quoting someone who was also talking about their weight/appearance. Anyway I already done this with Standee. |
