Be interesting to compare team sheets in three years time and see how many players from each side are still in SL

The kid has got talent in abundance, and runs some great lines with plenty of pace to boot.

Yeh I think he did mate, the thing about the 20s is the amount of full length try's and the quality of some of the other try's, I know it's against lesser opposition but it's great to watch, well worth the effort if you can get down to Ionians. Playing Bradford on Sunday at 2.30pm unfortunately/fortunately il be on my way to Spain for the week for the catalans game!

That is a good result against Cas under 20s. I watched them tear our under under 20s a new one a few weeks ago. Granted they had Owen And Isa in the side who caused a lot of the damage but they had a lot of good young players besides them.
I heard earlier on this evening that a few of your reserve/academy games will be moving to Hullensions shortly with a view to a permanent move in the near future. I think the 2 lower grade Derbies are amongst them. Seems a strange one with you been so established down at Ionians.

That is a bit of a strange one, I personally like the facilities down at Ionians but I think the overall aim is to have the academy games back in hull which obviously the boulevard was our first choice.
On the Cas team they were average at best didn't see much from them but they might have all had an off day, only first team players were steve snitch and Oliver holmes if I remember correctly.

I'm hopeful we have afew who could make it through from this group, Crooks, Newton and Williams being among them.

Has the kid we signed from Scotland (half back I think) been playing much for the 20s? Or the hooker from Cumbria (Newton?)

Yes I would mix it a bit for the Oldham game, put a good 13 out get a good lead then introduce some of the youngsters of the bench, something like Phelps,Lyne,Cunningham or Crooks,Yeaman,Briscoe,Obst,Long(if not suspended then Horne),Moa,Houghton,Radders,Westerman,Tickle,Washbrook Subs Aldous,Williams,Kent,Newton or something similar give the likes of Fitz,O'Meley,Horney,Whiting,Sharp,Lauaki a rest.
