| I sent an e-mail through with regards to the playing of Old Faithful before fridays match (and how it didn't work what so ever) and also requesting that the music on the PA be turned off with a few minutes to kick off. Alloying the fans to actually hear each other from one block to another and (hopefully) create some atmospher.
At first I got a reply from Jon Flatman who seemed to have misread the e-mail (and thouoght I was just having a dig at the announcer) but to be fair he replied to my further e-mail apologising about that and also said "Everything is worth a try and I am willing to give that a go. I do however think people/fans are used to being fed entertainment and would rather lead than be led."
I'm hoping that this will take place at the Cas game and I'll be doing my usually 'shouty man' thing from the top of South east to try and get Old Faithful going. Fingers crossed that with a good win this weekend and people slightly less dejected, people may actually join in so I don't look too much of a pillock with my suggestion

Unfortunately my son has already decided for us that we've had enough and have better things to do. It's a real shame because we used to enjoy it so much. I would be kicking off at wasting over 250 quid on season passes but I've had the support bored out of me by R. Agar.
Hull FC might have taken my money this year but they won't see it again anytime soon.'"

| Oh and on a side note, as I've already said on another thread. If people have unused tickets from previous games that they would like to make some money back on I'd be willing to take them off you at a reduced rate (Well, who'd want to pay full price right now? ) I was unable to buy a pass before the deadline but, for my sins, Still go to all the home games. Times are hard, and not just on the pitch

| Quote: Kosh " Problem is that no matter how good he might be in coaching sessions (and DDD seems to back up the opinion that he is) he just isn't producing the goods on the pitch where it counts.'"
The stuff about training is all meaningless rhetoric anyway. For a start, DDD is on the payroll and won't say anything controversial. But more importantly, have you ever, in the history of team sports, known a club to make an official statement saying that things are going [ibadly[/i in training? It's a stock answer that's given in times of poor performance:
"We're doing everything right in training, if we can just convert this into performances on the pitch..."

| It's pathetic that Rule's clinging to a narrow defeat against a 12 man Wigan as some sort of ray of hope and labeling it an 'outstanding performance'. I think he knows what we all know,he's just hoping he's wrong and Agar can turn it around.

| About the plank that introduces our games:
Tom,
Thanks for your email.
Harnessing the atmosphere at a ground is very difficult to control/manage.
Mike McKay is a Hull man and a Hull FC fan through and through. His passion and dedication are overwhelming and his style is to rouse and be loud and proud.
During difficult times we must support and make our home advantage count. Mike is improving and empathising better each and every game.
However, I can inform you that the past four announcers have all come in for lots of abuse from sections of fans and everyone can’t be pleased all the time. A lot of this is down to personal preference.
Thanks,
Jon Flatman

I received the exact same email, except for the 'Dear Paul' bit at the top. So they got my name right at least.

| I'm getting really annoyed with them plugging the Wigan game like its one of our greatest performances ever.
We lost that game FFS and they were down to 12 men ! That is not acceptable.

Maybe they can record a few choruses of "agar out" and play it over the tannoy. I think it would be really popular and get a large section of the crowd singing

Anything like last Friday and it definately wouldn't need to be played over the tannoy.

| I'm getting a bit peeved that people at the club seem to be spending more time responding to emails than actually sorting out the problems at the club.

| A few bog standard replies and some lackey will get the minute job of emailing them out hardly a long job or complicated even for the average prop forward.
They have the worry beads out good and proper now, they think a few emails, spin in the local paper will turn this around for them. This whole twitter thing is a diversion, focussing on how badly the two people have been treated. They will turn every rant, bad mouthing, chanting or fans kicking of as personal attacks in an attempt to turn attention away from the problem.
It has worked before, its not going to work anymore
