Advice is what we seek when we already know the answer - but wish we didn't
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full-frontal lobotomy

| MY attitude to Sunday is hoping that the projected force 5 easterlies don't materialise. I have been looking forward to going ling fishing since the trip was booked last year.
If it gets blown off I'll just have to resume my mammoth task of cataloguing my collection of navel lint

Nah weather will be spot on, looks like 2-3 S going SSW. Tides might be a bit too small though, they are dropping off pretty monstrous springs. Neapy tides are best for dingers, but those on Sunday are pretty small, you still need a bit of run even for ling.
Good luck anyway, seems to be plenty of cod on the middle distance wrecks. Where you fishing from?

Weymouth mate, been out today and had 10 pollack to 15lb (I kept 6, we tend to share them out). The cod have been mainly from the wrecks serviced by the Sussex ports, we've only seen the odd one or two. Tried another wreck today that produced 71kgs of bass earlier in the week - not a sniff. Not too bothered about the ling because the flatties are showing now and I'd rather go for a turbot (a 22lber was caught last week)
