The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

So do we take a chance on someone like Dymock or Taylor? Could end up the same as Agar?

Agreed, this proven world class coach stuff is getting tedious as it won't happen, we need to find an up and coming coach from Aus with the emphasis being on certain qualities rather then simply experience or past success (would help though) my only concern would be the ability of the decision makers at the club to identify such a person after the Agar farce, and then if we did find the right man would we be an attractive proposition for someone who is possibly in line for an NRL job in a couple of years.

| Quote: Jake the Peg "I was in favour of noble but the more I think about it the more I think we need an overseas coach. There was obviously some reason that wigan got rid of him. If he'd got us to the verge of the GF 2 years in a row we'd have offered him a contract for life. wigan saw his deficiencies, got rid and won the GF within 12 months. For me, that shows a level of vision that our board simply don't have'"
So cheeky. You've been supporting the appointment of Noble all this time and as soon as it threatens to become a >20% possibility you're changing horses? Just laziness on the avatar front, surely? Overtype Agar in your wheelie bin with Noble. Naughty.

| I wouldn't be opposed trying a young guy with potential, so long as he's been working under some of the best coaches in the world for a considerable time. You won't get that in a British coach.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Correct mate and McGuire was only an understudy to Bellamy so both were risky appointments.

| Why have Long/Fitz till the end of the season? We would be better promoting Webster till the end of the season and look for a quality replacement in the meantime.

| There would be no point imo in replacing Agar with 2 untried coaches. We need to go for quality.

| Tbf Paul Maguires reputation was massive.
I'm going to go against alot of peoples opinion and say Brown will never win a trophy, that's why he's not at St George.

I've always said this but most coaches that leave clubs do so because they have failed or have started to fail in the eyes of their employers. There are the odd exceptions where coaches decide to move on for the challenge but it's unusual and we're unlikley to be able to "buy" in a currently succesful coach especially from OZ. Having said that a "failing" coach at one club can succeed elsewhere. Sometimes it's just a change that is needed. I certainly think that we need that change , I've felt for years that we need to clear the whole coaching set up out and start again. New faces , new ideas , new start. They've all been involved in our failings. You say Last maybe would be unfortunate to go because the 20's are doing well? Most other 20's teams though have lost their "stars" to the first teams , look at Leeds , Saints and Wigan at the moment. Our 20's rarely are able to make the transition and certainly not 4 or 5 at a time. It's only by changing things that we can find out whether that's because the players we have aren't good enough or whether we're doing something wrong with them. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is as Einstein said insanity. I don't think you need to be Einstein to know we desperately need a change now. Whatever we do is risky and won't please everyone but doing nothing is just not an option.

| Is there one single thread of evidence to suggest Fitz would make a good coach ?
He is a world class player, however this does not guarantee a good coach, I would be horrified if we made him our coach, if that is where Fitz see's his future then great he should give if a try, but he will have to learn his trade first, the same applies to Long of course.

David Kidwell?? - A certain Mr Mason would be on the next plane to Oz!!
Personally, I feel we should go for Anderson or Folkes, someone who is proven and experienced.
