All true Scott. Also, Whiting's anticipation and reading of the game, for me, makes him much more of a threat at centre. If Whiting does move to centre then Will Sharp could end up with a decent try tally come the end of the season if he sticks to Whiting. |

Wigan use to do it well last year when Deacon came on for Riddel and he went to 7 with Tommy going to 9.
Having said that im not so sure it would work so well with our players but i think RA will try it out. |

Whiting is our smartest player imo.
Hopefully he can keep S.Tomkins from getting to involved when he loops round the back. |

Fair enough but if it's a case of getting him fit then he needs to get it gradually, as opposed to an immediate starting spot in place of someone who is fit and knows the drills.

If Phelps plays he has to start at FB, we all slate Agar for playing players out of position yet there are some saying we should play Phelps out of position and although Whiting can play just about anywhere I think most agree at the moment his best position is centre.

Whiting has said his preferred position is centre so I doubt he'd mind being moved from full back to centre. It would certainly shore up our defence to have whiting in the centres. |

On the highlights he's setting up some very good tries, obst's, sharp's and Yeamans to name a few.

If Phelps is fit then I would play him at fb and move Whiting to the centre with Turner missing out, harsh on Turner who had done well this season but these calls have to be made. I'd also play Long if fit and move Obst to the bench.
