Im filtering some of the fake and duplicate signatures now aswell.

I'll do as many as possible, although it would be better to filter through them towards the end of the petition, that way it's not a constant task.

Good effort guys. Was thinking if all those with mobile phones or email access sent a message out with the petition site address and asked them to forward it on etc, I'm sure it would increase the hit rates and potential signitures to the site. Not sure if it would go viral around Hull but worth a pop.

I reckon that a good 2000 signatures will be needed before it carries any weight. That's 2000 proper signatures after all the crap has been deleted.

I'd be more tempted to do it on a daily basis. That way, you won't have to wade through pages and pages of stuff right at the end. The more you have to do at once, the more chance you'll miss something.
