But, I still feel Agar is bulletproof.'"
forgot Anderson is out of a job too

| Let's not panic buy. Whoever we get will be here for the duration. Just 'cos Noble's free (would still be at Wigan if not for Maguire) and just because imo he should have got coach of the season last year for what he did at Crusaders, shouldn't we, Hull FC, one of the most (off the pitch) successful clubs in SL, be aiming straight for a Maguire or a Bennett? Same rationale for McRae, I'm afraid.
Be careful what you wish for. At Hull FC, it'll be here for a long while.

I wouldn't mind if that assistant was a McGuire type, as opposed to a Peter Sharp type.

Nearly got us relegated (Millward) saved us from relegation and a match away from G F and Challenge Cup (Nobby)
Who would you choose ?

I'm afraid Nobby is far too good to coach us at the moment. It's a poisoned chalice at Hull. The on the field damage has been done over the last five years, and it will take a maverick to reverse our fortunes. I can't see someone like Nobby accepting the post now - we've left it too late .

| You've got to ask the question why we can't make the signings of a couple of years ago as to now? .We have more cap space , Money for transfers and still we miss out on crucial signing.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| I'd follow Wigan and get a Melbourne assistant.
I heard very good things about him when he was at souths.

| Kidwell? Not sure about that one. A good young coach, took Souths U20's to a grand final, but I would think he needs a couple of years at least, under Bellamy before I would consider him to be a head coach.
The board should be going after Steve Folkes. A seasoned coach with a grand final win under his belt. Would bring in a completely new work ethic to the squad, and a change of attitude we so desperately need. He wants to return to a head coaching position sooner rather than later.

There are reasons why Foulkes is now a conditioner - his ideas had run their course at the Bulldogs - would not want a dinasour like him at my club
Noble is in the same boat - a bit outdated, how much of the improvement at the Crusaders was down to Harris? who allegedly took most of the training sessions.

By the end of his Doggies reign, things had become stale, but the guy took them on one hell of a run during his tenture there. He wasn't helped by the Doggies well documented off field troubles and their Salary cap breach in 02. To take them back from the bottom of the ladder, to a semi final in 03 and premiership winners in 04 speaks volumes about his integrity as a coach. His win record as Canterbury coach is also very good, considering he was there for a decade.
I'd hardly call him a dinasour, and he's got more coaching ability in his little finger than the likes of Agar and co. Name me anyone who has achieved what Steve Folkes has in his time as a head coach that we could realistically target...
