Can anyone else on here endorse RBA's recollection of Berrigan doing an interview in 2007 where he talked about bringing in lawyers to render Hull FC responsible for ringfencing his net pay in the future event of legislative or tax changes, say in 2010? I honestly can't, but maybe it's my age.

The more I think about this, the more I think it's a good idea for Burnett. I've always rated him highly, particulary when he debuted for the first team and looked a great prospect. He needs to recapture the momentum and is unfortunate to be in the one slot where we have strong and quality depth. Hope he does really well, then comes home next year.

Hope I'm wrong and he has a good season for Quins but Burnett hasn't looked anything special in his appearances so far. Yes he's young but the best young players generally chisel out a spot for themselves early and hold it down regardless of the strength of competition for that place. That's how they begin to make their mark. Admittedly that's a tough prospect in the second row at Hull but if Burnett was a rising star maybe a couple of the others wouldn't have been signed/had their contracts extended recently. Obviously Quins see something positive by signing him. Nothing against him whatsoever like I say I hope he has a good season but if he had shown top quality in his appearances to date he would be playing at Hull in 2011.
