I remember Peter Sterling wearing an away kit which was predominently a white shirt with just the one black irregular hoop around the middle but as you say clubs only wore their away shirt if absolutely necessary back in those days which was few are far between! |

i am pretty sure it was kevin dick at 7 in the drawn challenge cup semi v halifax at headingley we got beat in the replay at elland road scott gale was at 6

It was Hull's away shirt from the 1987/88 season through to 1989/90 season so it could be one of a few players shirt but Kevin Dick did wear it in 1988 for sure. |

Im going from memory mate and as soon as I saw that photo I thought it was Kevin Dick,for what its worth I Still Do.Bit chunkier than Sterlo.
Can't recall Sterlo ever wearing a Shopacheck shirt,if you go on our website in the fanzone check out the Wallpapers,there is one of Sterlo,He is wearing an ABI shirt in one and no sponsor on the other.Seeing as how he only played for us for a season and eight games find it hard to believe he could play under three different sponsored shirts.
Kevin Dick signed for us in 86 so all the same players will have been there who played with Sterlo .

 Thats definately Peter Sterling, I know for a fact because I had that picture up on my bedroom wall  IIRC this picture is at Boothferry Park possibly the Yorkshire Cup? |
