| Quote: He's gutted and apologising to the boys, ""He's gutted and apologising to the boys," said Agar.
"It was a high-pressure game and he was elbowed twice in the head. He copped two beauties on the side of his head and reacted.
"Nine minutes into the game, the referee could have showed a little bit of common-sense. We had two front rowers going at it hammer and tongs and two sin-binnings might have diffused the situation.
"I'm disappointed for our guys that a decision like that ultimately cost us. I don't think anybody could have given more for the cause but fatigue probably got the better of us.
"It was probably the difference between the two sides. We got caught defensively purely and simply because we were down on numbers."'"

What ever colours he was wearing. He was not a fan.
I heard a few cheers whilst he was on the pitch.

Nah, i was just questioning why there were cheers. Agreed, it needs looking at, how easily he got on the field and how long it took for a reaction.

| From the BBC article :
"The Rugby Football League's match commissioner revealed afterwards that he would be incorporating in his report an incident in which a spectator ran onto the field during the later stages and grabbed Leeds winger Donald. "
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the guy with his top off was earlyish on in the 1st half, so unless the report that I've quoted that from is wrong, was there a second incident that I've missed?

| As a steward at headingly there is no way to stop a fan getting on the pitch if they want to, you would need to have a ring of stewards right round the ground that would not only obsturct the view (so might aswell just put a fence up) and it would have more cost in stears would could lead to even higher ticket prices

Yes, it was about ten minutes from the end and it is the incident that McClennan is refering to.

| McLenna saw the punches then but not the elbows. Why did he not have the same words when Burrow was swinging at Lauaki or when Peacock went at Mason or when Senior smacked Wilkin.
Double standards Bluey so feck off!

Chav corner did indeed clap, it was embarrassing in that sense. However the vast majority booed.
It's right that there is an investigation, even though its very difficult to stop fans getting on the pitch, they were IMO slow to react.
That said, one drunk fan getting on the pitch. The worst should be a slap on the wrist punishment, mostly aimed at the security arrangements.
