His runs from dummy half got us on the move so many times. It was like having Richard Swain back in the team tonight. didn't shirk the biff either.

He really was superb tonight, he totally bossed the game.

I agree mate, just the recognition he deserves at the minute. IMO he is player of the year so far.

Sure his performance was noticed by the England coach who was in the stand.

I think maybe Berrigan might be a tad worried, he tried when he came on, made a couple of big errors dropping the ball but you could see he wanted to make an impact.

Who would have thought a year ago, Berrigan having to up his game to play.

Why would Berro be worried? According to the club he's had a big hand in Houghtons progress.

I'd imagine he's quite proud.

Danny has practically carried us over the past few games. His enthuasism really gets the team going and Berrigan would be right to be worried if he don't find himself in the team every week.

Berrigans coming towards the end of a fine career, after his contract was over hull would have hoped to have a home grown at the ability to replace him.
It's happened a year early!!
We now have a ex Australian international keeping houghton on his toes for the 9 shirt, able to call on him from the bench if houghton tires or is having a poor game and he can cover centre and loose in case of a injury in the game.

Worried? Maybe not.

Houghton was excellent, he has really pushed on this season.
