Because the attendance was 7900 and you said there were 7000 home fans there (3500 X 2)
I'm surprised the stand was only half full though as there were very few seats left that I could see |

my mistake then it appears 
and it wasn't half full, 2,100 out of 3,500 is over half full, not many fans have half filled it for a league game so .. .  |

Why do we always bang on about support and crowd numbers. I am sure we would all like to see full grounds, but while this country of ours is crazy about puffball (not just at the moment) it aint going to happen.
So there is no point in slagging off other supporters about how many turn up, as all who come on the message boards are the converted ones and no point will be gained in having a go at other clubs.
Do take into account though that we have Leeds and Bradford within 10 - 14 miles of us, and they took plenty of our support in our poor display days, and they take a lot of clawing back.

Didn't take 6000 but from where I was sat that day it appeared we had more then the home team.
