seriously though, got to give him credit for tonight, but there's still a long way to go to make up for 2 poor years.

Great win but when are we going to sort out the shocking defensive structure? Literally 2 quick passes wide and its a walk in try everytime. Great effort and passion shown in the second half and just the sort of performance we have been crying out for.

TBF we was in a mess all over and we could only do one half this season (the forwards) i'm hoping this off season we'll prioritise the backs.

The difference was that Saints barely touched the ball once we got that roll on so never had the chance to expose us outwide again.

Solid win and he deserves credit with it. Wish people could at least hold an opinion with him and not change it every 5 seconds like. If we can put in solid performances against leeds and wigan instead of getting 45+ points put past us I'll be completely happy with him.

Spot on. Everytime we have a good win everyone goes on about how the Agar haters have to eat their words and then when we have a rubbish performance everyone says I told you so.

In a way I agree but I think Saints try's were scored cos we were smarting from poor decisions from Mr Bentham. If Mr Cummings is sending out refereeing instructions to keep the game competitive rather than seeing score lines such as 68-12 then this needs to be classed as match fixing and the culprits prosecuted and banned.

But Hull are their own worst enemies when it comes to the play of the whistle, we have sat like rabbits in the headlights sometimes when the decision hasn't gone our way and I think the first half is proof of that.

But I have to give them credit for having the balls to go in hard and legal to show the other team we aren't here to be messed with and that to me is what turned the tide of the game.

More tf the same against Salford would be appreciated and don’t’ think just cos they are Salford that we’ll win without biff.

Saints trys were scored for exactly the same reason that we've conceeded loads of trys outwide this season. Our sliding defence isn't sliding fast enough.

We actually defend really strongly down the middle which is probably down to us loading the middle with too many defenders. If we can just sort the sliding defence out I agree we should have a chance against anyone.

just before Melo scored after they had got a penalty under posts i looked at our line and was probably 6 player in spitting distance if the uprights and i thought they throw it wide we are in danger and hey ho guess hwat happened

Yep. Said exactly the same thing at the time. We had 4 men in the tackle but still had too many players defending that area instead of shifting across so the men returning from the tackle could defend the middle channel.
