cusack,dowes,fitzgibbon,berrigan out
scruton,c smith,mateo,lms id all sign.
promote some youngsters obvious ones are nicklas, aldous and cunningham and im sure theres more.

id play horney at full back and drop tansey as a squadplayer.
berro is a great player and i really do rate him but the amount of times hes injured and is age id rather go out and get c smith whos the best hooker in the world and with the storm troubles at the mo theyd be willing to let him go.scruton and lms for the fairywinks in dowes and cusack very average these 2. and let fitz go great pro he is and puts 100% in everything he does but with him been a quota player id rather get mateo whos brilliant and can play either 6 or 13 and that then would allow whiting to go and play 13 that he deserves with washy as back up. long at 7, mateo at 6 and whiting 13 and horne at 1 that would be alot more creative and with tansey as back up as well when theres injuries which is very much certain.

He played 29 out of 32 games in 2008, 22 out of 28 last season and the first 11 games this season.

fair enough that he played less games seems like it anyway but how many times over the last 2years has he played were hes 50% fit or needs injections ect ect weve just never seen the real best from berro as he always looks like hes half fit apart from the begining of this season but now hes injured. anyway id still rather let berro go and get cameron smith icon_biggrin.gif

I'm guessing we have around £500k of salary cap sat in the stands with berrigan, long and fitzgibbon. What sort of idiot risks that much of the cap on 3 players over 30?

"Be you ever so high, the law is above you" "No one has ever made himself great by showing how small someone else is". - Irvin Himmel Tony, Blacklock, Yeaman, Whiting, Raynor, R. I agree with most of the sentiment on here except Berrigan who has clearly (for me) tried giving his all despite severe adversity. He has played when he has clearly not been fit. How many could or have said that over the past 3 seasons?

As always though I hope in this instance the club go with the cheap option and get rid of the coach. Far cheaper than cancelling half a dozen players contracts. Just so long as they don't appoint the great saviour "uncle Dennis" who has clearly brought the square root of FA with him from Australia.

THANK YOU Mr. PEARSON, FOR RIDDING US OF FCKWIT FUBAR, CEO TOOL AND THE STINKING UNCLE KATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DON'T THE DOBBINS PLAY IN GREEN SHIRT, GREEN SHORTS AND GREEN SOCKS IN ORDER TO EXPRESS THEIR INFINITE ENVY OF EVERYTHING BLACK AND WHITE??:icons42da_files/5424-2890lipst1ck_d0rk-msnicons.jpg

!st Agar out - words are not enough

2nd

Cusack - nothing more than a plodding quota player
Radford - mediocrity personified
Dowes - worse than the above
Hall - a complete joke, should be in NL1
Washbrook - not good enough
Horne - spent force
Berrigan - salary and quota spot could be used much more effectively

[b:16wvcohs]"To play your best football you need players with enthusiasm and drive and energy." - [i:16wvcohs]Peter Sterling[/i:16wvcohs][/b:16wvcohs] [quote="Adam Pearson said not":16wvcohs][b:16wvcohs]I know there are two franchises and two clubs (in Hull) and that will remain forever more[/b:16wvcohs][/quote:16wvcohs]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_12839.png

Players of all ages get injuries and IMO it's a red herring in all this. Any player stepping on to a SL field has the potential to get injured whatever age they are.

Where Agar fails is in his ability to send out a team which, even if under strength, has the ability to perform with the right levels of enthusiasm, structure and basic skill set. His teams don't seem to want to win. By that I mean they don't defend and chase kicks like their lives depend on it. They don't play to any pattern which, even if here isn't a real half back in sight, should be possible. There is effort but it's often misguided and directionless. We have seen this time and time again in sub standard performances over 2+ seasons. How many times do we hear him say that some players 'are not aiming up'. Isn't it his responsibility to ensure they are up for each and every game ?

ATEOTD most Hull fans realise that injuries have crippled us in recent times. If we could see a team on the field that played with some structure, busted a gut as a unit to try and overcome adversity, and performed the basic skills at the required level I think we would actually join in a siege mentality to get us through the tough times. As it is there are a number of players who put it in week in and week out, but others who appear not to give a about the club or their team mates and that is reflected in the poor level of their performance. Agar is the coach and by definition he is the one who allows this situation to proliferate. It's gone on way way too long now.

I said after the Celtic game - where is the 'coaching'? I mean something tangible, where at least the fans can think well we tried something different there. Some structural changes, depth of line of attack etc. We're still the flattest line to my eyes. I alluded to what little influence our 2nd in command must have or is not allowed to have.

Tansey should go, brainless.
Washy goes too - good div1 player but thats not good enough.
Hall - we'd all love to see him achieve what many thought it was possible for him to achieve. Too many chances, gotta go now.
Dowes/Cussack - too slow.
Lauiki - jurys out for me, on evidence shown also needs to go.

We need more pace throughout the side and we need more ball players. That includes not playing our best ball player on the flaming wing!!

For mine the criticism of certain players,at the moment is a tad unfair.

If you are coached by a dummy, you play like one.

Until we alter our backroom staff, and the coaching structure, nothing will change.

It only took Wigan 3 months, to radically improve.

we could sign Slater, Thurston,Inglis, and within 3 weeks, we would play the same,as we are now.

Nothing will change, until Agar departs.

but letting berro go and getting c smith could happen and is realistic if the board have ambition so stop trying to be a clever boy, look at warrington every year there recruitment just gets better and better and the reason is ambition from the club weres ours signing average players on big wages stupid
