i really disagree with ur comment that we havent had a game plan that hasnt change. This season we have scored some great trys and off loaded more than we ever have. Watch the last 2 seasons then watch this years attack, even with 5 or 6 different half back partnerships this year we have been far more impressive.

Im not saying all is rosey but after the last few seasons of dross this year for me has been far better.

The only thing that has changed is the quality of players recruited. Nothing in the gameplan has changed for me. Last year we scored 86 tries , The year before 88. This year so far and been more or less the half way stage . We have scored 44 tries . Compare the meerkat try list of 2004 and thats progress!!

im not saying all is rosey. I just think its much improved attacking wise. In the few games long has played watching runners angles and so on has been far more improved. Tansey has been brilliant for me but somehow theres a thread on here slating him.

No. Our attack is nothing better than a ball back inside ,The Tansey loop around or Horne making a break and looking for the second phase which isn't there . Our attack is still clueless on the oppositions goal line .I've said it before about the lack of any movement from our attack and the runners drawing defenders .But you arnt going to get any better with a laboured play the ball or plays that are telegraphed to an extent that they can be easily defended against.
Long must be pi44ing his pants at the thought of knocking this team into any attacking force any time soon.

Was impressed with McShane's distribution, but Dowes for mine, doesnt make yards at all.

dowes never makes any yards,but is decent in defence.perhaps we are spoilt,with moa,o'meley,lauaki,manu etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But a prop's primary function,is to make the hard yards,
For mine, id rather take a punt on a young prop from the lower leagues.

I dont understand why we have a combination of Dowes and Cusack,on the bench,
as when O'Meley comes off, we lose impetus.

Either Dowes or Cusack,and Moa on the bench for mine.

But we would sign an unknown prop and yo would probably complain we trying to do it on the cheap. Or agree with the signing and when it doesnt work give the board grief or agar or the player. Sometimes no matter what the club do to make headway or improve, theres always going to be people ready to knock them down.

I'd rather keep Dowes and lose Radford with Cussack heading home . The money freed up with them two gone could potentially lurer a good English prop from darn sarf.
